Pension Waldschloß is located in the village Fohlenplacken, in the heart of the beautiful nature reserve Weserbergland. Here you have every opportunity to enjoy nature, silence and outdoor sports such as mountain biking.

The guesthouse has been taken over by Leo and Karin Veenbrink since 01-01-2022.

This small and cosy guesthouse has well-equipped rooms and flats, some with balcony, and recently there is also a suite with bathrobes and a beautiful large bathroom with corner bath.

You will enjoy the peace and quiet in our guesthouse and the view of the stream, the mountains and the woods both from the rooms and when you use our terrace.

Every morning we provide a good and varied breakfast and for lunch, from April to October, we have a small menu available for you. For dinner you can use some good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Of course, there is plenty to do in the neighbourhood during the day. Besides the many hiking and biking tours you can make, there are also many attractions in the area such as the monastery route. There is also plenty to do for the children. The nature park is a wonderful excursion for young and old, but also the climbing forest and the experience forest are close by. The places Holzminden and Hoxter are definitely worth a visit and you can enjoy the quay along the Weser or go kayaking. Hameln and Bad Pyrmont are also worth visiting.

After a long and relaxing day, you can reminisce on our beautiful terrace until evening with a delicious drink or walk to the top of the mountain to enjoy the sunset while sipping a delicious glass.
